In OMOLU nimmt uns Diego Vasconcelos mit in die Welt der afrobrasilianischen Religion des Candomblé. Über einen Monat hinweg hat der brasilianische Fotograf die Gläubigen bei den Vorbereitungen für die Feierlichkeiten zu Ehren ihrer Gottheit Omolu begleitet. In OMOLU, Diego Vasconcelos takes us into the world of the Afro-Brazilian religion of Candomblé. Over the course of a month, the Brazilian photographer followed the practitioners as they prepared for the celebrations in honour of their deity, Omolu. The photographs provide an insight into a religion full of ceremonies and rituals that is increasingly being rejected in evangelical Christian Brazil.
